Sunday, November 2, 2025
Time: 11 AM – 5 PM
Location: Future Front House 1900 E 12th St.

Scent Fair Austin is an immersive, one-day experience where contemporary art and olfactory exploration converge. Curated by Carlos Moreno of Barrio Pop Studio, this multisensory fair invites attendees to engage with scent as a medium for storytelling, memory, and cultural connection. The fair’s theme, Elemental, draws inspiration from Ana Mendieta, emphasizing the relationship between the body, nature, and ritual in art.

The program features:

  • Two-Person Exhibition with multidisciplinary artists Paloma and Nam, exploring the intersection of scent, memory, and cultural identity.

  • Film Screening of a short experimental film by Jessie of WeSeeWaves, offering a cinematic exploration of scent-inspired narratives.

  • Scent and Writing Activation facilitated by Hannah of Acquired Taste, where attendees can participate in writing and olfactory stations, combining scent, reflection, and creative expression.

  • Gallery Program featuring Niru of Equity Through Art, including works that examine olfactory memory and cultural heritage, such as “Synesthesia”, blending visual storytelling with scent-based engagement.

Tickets are available now on Eventbrite. Experience a day where art, fragrance, and ritual converge—an invitation to see, smell, and feel creativity in a whole new way.
