FreshAIR at SXSW is an immersive arts activation exploring how aesthetic experience shapes collective imagination, material practice, and regenerative design. Developed in collaboration with Scenic Route Studios and Equity Through Art, the program brings artists, educators, and cultural producers into dialogue across disciplines including contemporary craft, installation, performance, and sensory research.

Presented as part of SXSW Alternative Programming, FreshAIR creates an environment for slow looking, conversation, and embodied engagement within a fast-paced festival landscape. The activation includes immersive installations, a curated creative marketplace, interdisciplinary programming, and site-responsive works that foreground attention as both artistic method and communal practice.

Barrio Pop Studio contributes through contemporary craft installations, limited edition releases, and material based activations aligned with the Year of Analog 2026. Together, the collaborators frame FreshAIR as a living laboratory for art, ecology, and collective presence.
